Opening an ETC3 ECU requires particular care: its construction makes it difficult to separate the casing halves without risking damage to the housing or PCB components.
Developed in response to needs highlighted by the Magicmotorsport community, the ETC3 ECU opening jig tool helps automotive technicians perform this operation with greater control and repeatability.
The jig tool assists technicians through a fully mechanical extraction system. By operating the extraction bushings and following the specified sequences, the casing halves can be separated progressively and evenly, maintaining control throughout each stage of the opening process.
Made of steel, the jig helps reduce working time and waste caused by damage during opening.
