The RFT - Ready for Tuning service allows customers to unlock specific control units that couldn’t be worked on otherwise, by physically sending them to one of Magicmotorsport authorized hubs for a certified intervention.
After the unlock, the unit is sent back to the customer, ready to be programmed with Flex, 100% compatible with exclusive protocols that are only included in the RFT license.

Buy the RFT license on our shop and activate it in your Helpdesk account. You will then be able to request the unlock of specific units.
Open a new service on the Helpdesk platform, following the guided procedure, specifying the control unit model you want to work on via RFT.
The unit is then shipped to one of Magicmotorsport authorized labs and undergoes the certified unlock process.
The electronic unit is then sent back to you, ready to be programmed with Flex.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can access the RFT license?
Flex users with an active Full Master or Full Slave subscription already have the RFT license included and activated in their accounts. They can therefore request the unlock of selected units directly via the Helpdesk platform.
What can I do if my software package is not Full?
You have two options: upgrade to the Full (Master or Slave) package or buy the RFT license separately in our shop. Please note: your software package must include the specific protocol.
How can I activate the license after my purchase?
Go to the Helpdesk platform. Open a new ticket for the RFT activation (Product Activation). You can now start using the service.
How can I request the unlock of a control unit via RFT?
Go to the Helpdesk platform. Click on “Create new service” and then on the RFT icon. Fill out the form, entering the following data:
Technical data of the control unit, shipping data (name, address, contact).
You will get a label to ship the unit. Prepare the package and ship the control unit to Magicmotorsport Headquarters. Once unlocked, the unit will be returned ready to be used with Flex.
Does the RFT service have additional costs?
The certified unlock service is paid for in green coins. All Master users with an active subscription have 300 green coins per month included. Shipping costs are invoiced separately. For operations carried out at the UK labs, an additional cost may be applied for opening the ECU.
How to send the unit to the Italian lab?
If you ship the unit to the Italian lab, a DHL label will be provided so you can leave the parcel to a DHL ServicePoint near you. After all work is done on the unit, it will be sent back to the address you provided.
How to send the unit to the UK lab?
You can ship your unit to our lab in the United Kingdom or leave it at a Royal Mail Service Point near you. After all work is done on the unit, it will be sent back to the address you provided.
How to send the unit to the US lab?
You can ship your unit to our lab in the United States. After all work is done on the unit, it will be sent back to the address you provided.
